This 1975 renovation of an extent structure was the first project in Winnipeg to make use of Styrofoam SM insulation, giving it an R-value of 30. Large windows facing an upper storey courtyard space create a bright interior, while a closed-in lower level accommodates privacy. The renovation was a 1978 Premier's Award for Design Excellence nominee.
