54 Royal Salinger Crescent was built by Hashimoto Construction Limited, a firm founded by founded by Hiro Hashimoto after his arrival in Winnipeg in 1946. The Niakwa Place home was exhibited in the city's 1968 "Parade of Homes." At the time it was advertised as a colonial style two-storey home featuring a rec-room and custom-crafted cabinets.
