More Information
The original design for the Toronto-Dominion Bank at 829 Henderson Highway by architects Northwood and Chivers was a composition of startling modernity, with a large section at the north-west of the building’s footprint clad nearly entirely in glass, or open to further spaces. A lower entryway area at the intersection of Henderson Highway and Hazell Dell Avenue lends a sense of intimacy to those visiting the structure. Lower and full walls are clad in a vivid red brick, creating a sense of vibrancy.
