More Information
Windsor Ontario architect W C Crosbie was hired to design this building for Chrysler Canada. The combination office and warehouse building cost $1.5 million. Precast, prestressed wall panels with integral insulation were chosen to meet all requirement, keeping the desired esthetics. Panels for the office area were varied in texture and scale to offset the mass of the main building.
Insulation, fastening detail, necessary openings sealing gaskets were cast in the panels at the plant, making the work fast, simple and economical.
