More Information
OZ is a twenty-five unit condominium building. Located on an L-shaped site, the project was conceived as two towers linked by a narrow glass slit that serves as the entryway. Each tower is wrapped in a skin of black corrugated metal, with solid and perforated panels creating a subtle play of light across the facade. The cladding is carved into, and punctured, to introduce outdoor space. All components that are recessed behind or cut through the cladding are white.
As a solution to a tight site, the units are interlocked in a variety of ways to reduce the amount space devoted to corridors.
