More Information
A nineteen-storey high-rise, 277 Wellington Crescent stands adjacent to the Assiniboine River, surmounted by a distinctive roofline comprised of triangular ends and a long central beam – as assemblage which appears a schematic of historic residential gable roofs or such architecture as the Prairie grain elevator. Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool and such interior amenities as an interior whirlpool, exercise room, and saunas, the building was designed as a deluxe property. In front of the large tower, the project is fronted by a row of slender street-facing town-homes topped by pitched roofs, a portion of the complex which reflects traditional urban forms while also possessing a late modern aspect.
