This fourteen-storey hotel tower serves as a landmark on the western stretch of Portage Avenue. Clad in warm brown brick, the hotel’s design features projecting balconies on the upper three floors, creating a striking silhouette. The 250-room hotel’s $7.5 million construction was funded by Winnipeg development firm Ladco Company Limited. Amenities which date to the initial construction include a swimming pool and sauna.
