More Information

Constructed in 1959-60 the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Service Building was designed by local architect Dwight R. Johnston. The structure, v-shaped in plan, is anchored by a dramatic, angled gable, a gesture which makes the building a noticeable silhouette in its park-like prairie setting. The Service Building is clad in Manitoba Tyndall limestone and Norman brick.
