Biography

Barry Podolsky graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1961 with a Bachelor of Architecture. He worked in the practice of Al Waisman from 1962 to 1965. He became interested in urban design and regional planning, and studied at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 1970 with a Master of Science.

In 1969, he established a practice, Barry Padolsky Architect Limited in Ottawa's Byward Market district, focusing on urban design and policy.
