A series of walking paths “gather up” foot traffic on the east side of the Forks and guide it across the beautiful Esplanade Riel footbridge to Saint Boniface. This is not just an exercise in aesthetics but a functional response to a growing volume of pedestrian traffic between the downtown with nearby districts undergoing densification. On the west end it becomes Broadway Promenade.
