Join author/historian Murray Peterson to learn about the architect Max Zev Blankstein. Blankstein (1874-1931) was an important architect in Winnipeg's early history. The first Jewish architect registered in Canada, he left a legacy of theatres, apartment blocks, houses and other buildings across the Prairies. Murray Peterson is the author of WAF’s new book, Max Blankstein Architect.
 
Come early to see the exhibit on the Main Floor of the Library about Max Blankstein. The lecture will be on the second floor in the carol Shields Auditorium. The venue is accessible.
