Join Trees Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation for a walk of St. John's Park.
Learn about the history of the park, the importance of the urban forest and identify the tree species found there. Offered in partnership with Trees Winnipeg. Researcher and writer Christian Cassidy will be joined by a Trees Winnipeg arborist to take you around historic St. John's Park, one of the original four parks in Winnipeg.
Look for the Trees Winnipeg table as the starting point. The meting place for the St. John’s Park Walk is across from the Consistory of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada building at 9 St. John's Avenue just off Main Street.
The route will be accessible to bikes, strollers and wheelchairs.
