A group of young women were working on the restoration and reconstruction in the historic fabric of Shiraz when news broke that the complete destruction of the historic area had been approved by high-ranking officials of the country. This prompted the girls, with the help of a film director, to take action to
prevent the destruction. After much struggle, they and the people of Shiraz succeeded in having the historic fabric nationally registered, which ultimately prevented the destruction of this enduring historical heritage of the city.
