More Information
True North Square is a mixed-use development consisting of a large plaza surrounded by high rises. When complete, the complex of four towers will provide office, residential, retail, hotel, and public spaces. A 17 storey tower on Hargrave Street which incorporates a food hall was the first to open. This was followed by a 25 storey mixed commercial and residential tower on Carlton Street. The 21 storey Wananesa Mutual Insurance company building, the third on the site, opened in 2024 at the northwest corner of the square. The building’s exterior cladding represents the town of Wawanesa, on Manitoba’s winding Souris River. The fourth tower is a planned hotel located at the northwest corner of Carlton and St. Mary. All are linked by skywalks.
