Wish You Were Here - Architectural Souvenirs
From antiquity to today, architectural mementoes have been a popular way to capture memories. Whether Classical keepsake or modernism in miniature, images of buildings have found many forms: wrought of glass and ceramic, appearing on ashtrays and mugs. In the process they have popularized some of the world's most striking structures and changed the way we see the built world. Exhibiting a range of examples – representing everything from antiques to expos – this show will explore this domain of the diminutive, with a particular focus on local souvenirs.
