This is the former Britannia School, a partner to the much-newer Stevenson-Britannia School just across Silver Avenue, but now closed by the school division and sold to these pre-school groups.

- It was constructed in two distinct sections: a diminutive original section on the north side facing Silver Avenue to which was eventually linked a newer two-storey school; both are perfect time capsules to the 1950s and early 1960s and have shown almost no alteration and great care in upkeep
- Both now crackle with the energy of a private nursery school and day-care, with a pirate ship play structure, discovery gardens and a drawbridge and canoe for the older children
