Edward (Ted) LeBlond
Biography
Ted LeBlond was born in Ottawa in 1950. He attended the University of British Columbia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1974 and a Bachelor of Architecture in 1977.
His pre-registration experience was with Arthur Ericson Architects and Harry LeBlond and Associates Architects in Vancouver.he subsequently worked with R.E. Hulbert & Partners and Grant and Sinclair Architects before initiating his own practice in Vancouver from 1985-1990.
In 1990, Ted moved to Winnipeg and joined GBR and Associates (later Stantec)where he became an Associate in 1991 and a Principle in 1995.
Ted was elected to the MAA Council in 1999, serving on various committees and as President from 2002-2003.He also served on the Design Guidelines Committee for the City of Winnipeg. He was inducted as a Fellow of the RAIC in 20014.
