Kuwada Construciton Co. Ltd. was hired on March 6th, 1961, for the construction of St. Theresa's Parish, 3597 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba. The total cost of building the church was $81,000, with parishioners providing the excavation work and installing the septic field as a way to reduce costs. Construction of the church was completed by October 1st of 1961.
The new church was built north of the original church (a former school house). The original church has since been demolished.
