More Information
This postal station is an example of the federal government’s increased spending on new facilities in Winnipeg, coinciding with the city’s rapid growth in the early 20th century. It was designed with classically designed detailing. The main floor has rusticated stone walls and arched windows. The second floor’s red brick walls are topped with a projecting metal cornice.
