When it was first built, this five-storey modernist apartment block at the corner of Assiniboine Avenue and Hargrave Street (overlooking the Assiniboine River) contained 65 apartment suites. Clad in orange-brick, the cubic structure is enlivened by its corner doorway and ribbon-style window treatment. The estimated cost of construction was $500,000.
