58 Royal Salinger Crescent was built by Hashimoto Construction Limited, a firm founded by founded by Hiro Hashimoto after his arrival in Winnipeg in 1946. The Niakwa Place home was exhibited in the city’s 1968 “Parade of Homes.” At the time it was advertised as a “contemporary styled bungalow” with an “indoor-outdoor theme” featuring balconies and patio doors.
