The Garry Street Parkade was designed as part of a larger project at 238-246 Portage Avenue. The Portage Avenue structure, with its notable Modern design, was billed as the first “automobile age” building in Winnipeg. The parkade has an iconic facade with a concrete and glass spiral ramp and vertical sign of circular letters.
