The architects aimed for fun in this post-modern design, using black and white concrete block stripes, with coloured metal on the upper level. The front facade is enlivened with a broad curved section, protruding bays in colour or stripes and many windows. Greenway School teacher Louise Staples organized the first CAA School Safety Patrol in 1936.
