Originally located at the intersection of Regent and Day, this Cenotaph was constructed to commemorate Transcona community members lost in World War I. It is made of grey granite from B.C. and was assembled by the Winnipeg Memorial and Tile Company. Plaques were later added to honor World War II and Korean War casualties, and peacekeepers.
