More Information
Originally located at City Hall, this is one the earliest public fountains in Winnipeg. It is representative of the style of fountains of the 19th and 20th centuries. There are similar statues found in cities across the world. The statue is associated with both the public celebration of the British monarchy and the evolution of the facilities at one of Winnipeg’s best-known parks.
